Sarah Page 178334 viewsI particulary like the flamestitch at the bottom and the queen stitch diamonds down the center of this sampler, my two favorite stitches. But the border really caught my eye when I first saw this sampler - stitched in the same style as the unusual border on Mary Haslehurst. You can see a detail of the border in the next picture. And both Page and Haslehurst have flamestitch, a coincidence? And the date on both samplers done in eyelet..........I'd like to know more about these samplers.
